(A) Failure phenomenon: Crawling


Failure analysis:

1, air intrusion

Method of exclusion:

1. Adding an exhaust device; if there is no exhaust device, the hydraulic system can be activated to move the working parts at a maximum stroke to force the air to be removed.

2. Adjust the sealing ring so that it is not tight or loose, and ensure that the piston rod can be smoothly pulled back and forth without leakage (mostly allow a small amount of oil seepage).

3. Correct the concentricity of the two.

4. Straighten the piston rod.

5. Check the parallelism between the hydraulic cylinder and the guide rail and correct it.

(B) Failure phenomenon: Impact


Failure analysis:

1. The piston and hydraulic cylinder sealed by the gap are too large, and the throttle valve loses the throttling effect.

2. The one-way valve of the end buffer is out of order, and the buffer does not work.


Method of exclusion:

1. According to the provisions, the clearance between the piston and the hydraulic cylinder is matched to reduce the leakage phenomenon.

2. Correct the research and configuration of the check valve and valve seat.


(C) Failure phenomenon: Insufficient Thrust Or Gradual Decline In Working Speed Or Even Stop


Failure analysis:

1. The clearance between the hydraulic cylinder and the piston is too large or the O-ring seal is damaged, resulting in high and low pressure chamber intercommunication.

2. Due to the use of a certain section of the working stroke, the hydraulic cylinder bore has a poor linearity and has a waist drum shape, which causes the high and low pressure oils at both ends of the hydraulic cylinder to communicate with each other.

3. The cylinder end oil seal is pressed too tightly or the piston rod is bent, which increases the friction or resistance.

4. Too much leakage.

5. The oil temperature is too high, the viscosity is reduced, and the cylinder speed is slowed down by intermittent sealing or poor sealing quality. If the high and low pressure oil chambers at both ends of the hydraulic cylinder communicate with each other, the running speed will gradually slow down until it stops.


Method of exclusion:

1. Intermittent replacement of piston and hydraulic cylinder with O-ring seal.

2, honing repair hydraulic cylinder aperture, single with piston.

3. Relax the oil seal and straighten the piston rod to the limit of no oil leakage.

4. Find leaks and tighten the joints.

5, analyze the cause of heat, try to cool down the heat, such as the seal gap is too large, the piston is only equipped with a seal ring.
