The cutter suction dredger, specialized in dredging silt in narrow rivers, is equipped with Caterpillar engines for customers.

Because the sludge is very viscous, this requires a reamer with greater torque. Leader Dredger conducted a special project analysis for the customer and adjusted the reamer power according to the resistance ratio.

LD1000 uses CAT C18 engine, the power of C18 is 447kw. At the same time, the driver’s cab is upgraded to adopt a 180-degree bright control room to facilitate the driver to observe the surrounding work more clearly.

Because the silt contains a lot of soil, stones, tree roots and attachments, the cutters, centrifugal pumps, hull materials and pipes of this dredger are all customized for customers, which can fully adapt to this complex working condition.
