Cutter Suction Dredger
Compared with Inboard pump CSD, Submersible pump CSD has a deeper dredging depth and a higher suction concentration of the pump.
The suction pump of Submersible pump dredger is installed on the bridge frame, because it is closer to the silt than the pump of inboard pump CSD, so it has higher productivity and output, and the concentration of sludge discharged is higher than that of inboard pump dredger.
The maximum dredging depth of the Underwater dredger is 30m, which makes it require a larger hull to install a high-strength bridge frame, and install pumps, drives, motors and other equipment on the bridge frame. And the driving method and driving power are completely different from inboard pump dredger.
